Accessibility statement
Our commitment to a website that works for everyone.
Last updated: August 2026
Our commitment
Hope & Healing Counseling is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are actively working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which help make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological conditions.
Ongoing efforts
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. We regularly review our website for issues such as color contrast, keyboard navigation, screen-reader compatibility, and clear form labeling, and we work to address barriers as they are identified.
- Semantic HTML and descriptive link text throughout the site
- Alt text for meaningful images
- Sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds
- Keyboard-navigable menus, forms, and interactive elements
Reporting a barrier
If you encounter a barrier while using our website, or need information in an alternate format, please let us know. We take these reports seriously and will work to address the issue promptly.
Contact us at (616) 209-8280 or contact@hopehealcc.com to report an accessibility barrier or request assistance.
